It’s been a while hasn’t it. Nine months ago I pulled the demolished 1.6L engine from this chassis, and today it get’s its new heart. I’ve still got a few major tasks to do before I can hear it start up for the first time, but doesn’t it look awesome in the bay?? Next up: Wiring, intercooler piping, cooling system, clutch and trans, and I should be able to fire it up.
I’ll slowly be adding things in like getting all the additional sensors hooked up, installing the Flex Fuel setup, and doing the tablet gauges once the car is running. Of course I’ll have a few more surprises in there too… Cheers!
