Welp, can’t say I didn’t see that coming! It’s all good though, on to better things right?? For the record, I was planning this day and shooting for 300whp for at least a month prior, it wasn’t Tyler’s challenge that “pushed” me into doing it (his challenge just arrived at a perfect time). I believe the cause of the failure was a harsh power cut due to the overboost protection while the car was making full power. Connecting rods don’t like rapid changes in stress. It might have cracked or bent, and after 80 miles spinning 4000RPM on the highway it decided to give up.
