Hope all this makes sense! Boost control was one of the things I always struggled with on the 1.6L, so I want the best hardware available for the new setup since I’ll be running double the boost.
VIDEO NOTE: I misspoke when I said the EBC solenoid just “let’s out” the extra air. All it’s really doing is letting air out of the actuator to let it close. It’s not a constant stream of pressurized air being released, that would be a boost leak.
